Outcasts Of Poker Flat Summary

Reads like a low-effort book report[edit]

This article is in need of a better summary. As I haven't read the book, I don't feel qualified to update the plot section of the article. That said, it reads like a biased book report and needs a rewrite. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 132.177.247.230 (talk) 18:02, 12 July 2013 (UTC)

is this neutral?[edit]

'His compelling combination of realism and sentimentality...'

Keyword: compelling. I see an element of bias and opinion here. Infact, I think exactly the opposite, his work is does not compel me, it is not compelling in my opinion. Keyword: opinion, as in my opinion contradicts the other writer's opinion about this story. This is therefore not neutral. Remove it now or I will change compelling to pretentious. 67.0.8.94 (talk) 16:18, 20 March 2012 (UTC)
