Comes With Everything AS PICTURED (except NEW and UNOPENED, of course) What You See is What You Get, Guaranteed! Cover Scan of Actual Product Titan Quest: Immortal Throne is an expansion, and requires Titan Quest to play. Both titles are included in the Titan Quest Gold Edition. Founded in 2000 by Brian Sullivan (co-creator of the Age of Empires series), Iron Lore Entertainment released Titan.
Titan Quest: Immortal Throne is an action RPG developed by Iron Lore Entertainment. It is the first expansion pack to the 2006 RPG hit, Titan Quest. Like Titan Quest, Immortal Throne is a single player game taking place in a fantastic world based on Greek mythology.
Titan Quest: Gold Edition was also released in 2007, and contains Titan Quest as well as Immmortal Throne. On July 17, 2007, Immortal Throne was released on Steam. The game is also available via GamersGate.
Overview[edit | edit source]
Titan Quest: Immortal Throne adds a fourth Act to Titan Quest, in which the player travels to Rhodes and Hades to stop a new villain. The gameplay is darker and grittier than the original, focusing more on the evil of the underworld, rather than the glory of heroes. This is obviously due to the fact that most of the gameplay is based in the underworld.
Storyline[edit | edit source]
The plot is as follows, as said by Immortal Throne producer Mike Verrette.
As Zeus and the pantheon of gods are packing up and declaring that the time has come for mankind to control its own destiny, a Hades-born army is forming and cutting a swath of destruction through the already war-torn ancient world. Players must find a way into the underworld, fight their way through the advancing horde, and once again change the course of history.
Features[edit | edit source]
- A new act that is roughly the same length as Act I (10–15 hours of gameplay).
- A new equipment slot for new items called Artifacts. Artifacts can be bought from Enchanters when the player has the Arcane Formula and the required ingredients, and provides the player with some constant bonuses.
- A new shop for the Enchanter, who is required to create Artifacts. Enchanters can also un-socket items, saving either the item or the socketed Charm/Relic.
- A new shop for the Caravan. The Caravan functions as an extra storage space, allowing players to hang on to additional equipment. All items placed within the Caravan are available at any city the Caravan is present in. The Caravan also has a Share section, which allows the player to swap items between his characters.
- Scrolls - one shot skills and buffs, purchasable from merchants.
- 30 new quests.
- 20 new monster types and bosses.
- Level cap raised to 75.
- One completely new mastery to the skill system called Dream Mastery. It features powerful buffs called trances that can only be used one at a time, as well as a complement of directional and area-of-effect skills, crowd control spells, and that ability to conjure nightmares from the dream world.

PS4XONETitan Quest Anniversary Edition for PC, PS4 and etc. is a special, anniversary edition of Titan Quest, a classic action-RPG, that includes the official expansion, Immortal Throne. This unusual game has been released in 2006, and was praised as one of the most successful “Diablo-like” games, along such titles as Sacred. Ten years later, the creators from Iron Lore studio, along with THQ Nordic (earlier Nordic Games), who have acquired the rights to the brand after the collapse of THQ, prepared a special, extended release. The digital version of Titan Quest Anniversary Edition has been released for free for every Steam user who has the game in their library.
Plot
The plot of Titan Quest takes place in ancient times, and is based on stories from Greek, Egyptian, Babylonian, and Chinese mythologies. Many years after the defeat and the imprisonment of titans, they are able to escape the prison. Along with them, hordes of various monsters have appeared on Earth, bringing about chaos and destruction. The players become one of the heroes sanctioned by gods, who undertake a journey through the antique world, searching for a way to apprehend the titans once again.
Immortal Throne add-on expands the plot of the basic game with a new campaign, in which our hero traverses the dark and sinister depths of Hades, facing the greatest villains of the Greek mythology.
Mechanics
When it comes to mechanics, Titan Quest is a classic example of a hack-and-slash RPG, popularized in the late 90s of the last century by the legendary Diablo. At the beginning of the game, we create our character, choosing from an impressive number of 28 available classes, different in terms of appearance, abilities, and fighting style. The protagonist traverses various regions, visiting a number of mythic locations, such as: Parthenon, Giza pyramids, Hanging Gardens of Babylon or The Great Wall of China, talking to encountered characters and completing various main or secondary quests that mainly involve eliminating hordes of monsters. As you progress in the game, our hero gains experience and advances to next levels, developing his physical and magical abilities. The equipment acquired during our journey also has an influence on our character’s power and abilities. Everyone will find something to their liking, as the players can choose from about thousand pieces of weaponry, armors, and magical items.
According to the developers, Titan Quest Anniversary Edition includes 1261 changes in relation to the original version of the game from 2006. As concerns the mechanics, the most important of them involve a much better balancing of individual classes, abilities, weapons, and items, an improved non-player character AI, bigger equipment capability, or an improved loot system. Furthermore, the game includes a large number of new enemies and bosses, and a number of smaller fixes that are a result of cooperation between the developers and player community, spanning over 10 years.
Game modes
Similarly to the predecessor, Titan Quest Anniversary Edition includes not only single player modes, but also cooperation mode for 2-6 players. This edition received a thoroughly refreshed and improved multiplayer mode, introducing a number of useful functionalities, such as voice chat between players.
Technical aspects
As far as the visuals are concerned, Titan Quest Anniversary Edition for PC, PS4 and etc. doesn’t change the graphics in any major way. Nevertheless, it’s worth noting that even if authors only introduced new screen resolution options, the visuals stood the test of time, and are still eye-catching, even after a decade. Among other technical changes, it is worth to mention improving the performance and stability of the game, and introducing new language versions. Aside from typical Steam additions, such as achievements or trading cards, a huge novelty is introducing support for mods and the ability to share our works through Steam Workshop.
